The Brief
Moko Fit is a fitness apparel retailer business with a complementary digital fitness platform.

About The Brand
The core offering is the gym apparel, but the business also provides value to customer through a free mobile app that acts as a digital coach, offering frr gym drill and workout guidance. This integrated approach combines the physical product with a digital service to enhance the customer experience and potentially drive sales of the apparel.

The Problems
Since they are a fitness apparel retailing business, they needed a simple and memorable logo suite ( that ties to their African roots) to be able to brand the clothing.
Also, for the mobile application and website, they needed a visual identity that will be used in order to make the visual of the business recognisable and consistent whether on the websites, or the app, or social media, or even their marketing visuals.
The Solutions
Following these problems identified at KOLA Coffee, the best solution was to craft a strategic visual Identity that remain timeless as the brand grows. The visual identity is made up of:
- A logo Suite ( 4 different logo arrangements) which can fit any size and can be scaled while being visible.
- A color Palette which shows the brand personality and makes the customers resonate more with the brand.
- A typography (font) pairing system with fonts that represent the tone of voice which the brand is speaking with.
- A Brand Pattern that can be used to give the brand visuals more character and depth.
The Findings
From the brand keywords, the logo was developed. for the logo mark, in order to create something which feels strong, powerful, bold and african, the concept of the lion was used.

After all he IS the king of the jungle and MbokoFit aims at being the biggest and most outstanding among its competitors.

The side profile ( looking cool, calm and confident) of the lion was used to create the simple logo mark.

The font styles chosen includes a bold font in Aton which is simple but with its bold style, commands the attention that MbokoFit requires.
Fonts in action

A clean san serif is used as well, to keep things balanced and simple. In the same way, the colour palette chosen includes a BOLD and bright color in Spanish Crimson. Paired with Black and the other Darker Colors of the Palette, this gives off a rich and powerful vibe.

For the brand patterns, the logo mark or the submark logo will be used in a grid format, as well as expanded to show off the strength in th bold lines used in creating the logo mark. All this combined brought forward the visual identity of MBOKOFIT.
